double beat fuzz

Currently unavailable

introduced in 1973, the roland ad-50 double beat is a fuzz and a wah in one enclosure (a fuzz-wah, if you will). the fuzz portion of the double beat resembles a fuzz face, but the double beat has an extra transistor stage for more gain and a "waveform" selector rotary that acts more like a tone bias selector. by filtering the signal in different ways, it can be transformed into a square wave, sine wave, or triangle wave. that's three flavors of fuzz in one! the double beat fuzz cleans up well when the instrument's volume knob is rolled back, much like a fuzz face. yesterday effects is offering a recreation of the double beat fuzz in a smaller, pedalboard friendly enclosure. if you're looking for a dynamic, wide range fuzz with a vintage feel to it look no further than the yesterday effects double beat fuzz.
